I had the tingling feeling to blog even with 5 assessments due next week! I won't blog for long because i have no time but this post will just be a quick update on my recent Sasa haul that i got. The Semester is nearly ending so i'm buried in work. I didn't buy much for my May Sasa haul since i didn't really need anything new however i was running out of masks so i got two this time.
What i bought:
-My Beauty Diary Chocolate Truffle Mask
-My Beauty Diary Arbutin Whitening Mask
-Noble Hair Base (2 pieces)
-Shiseido Hand Cream
-Katani Oil Blotting Paper
-Free Ring keyring
I'll be reviewing the products probably in July since that's when my holidays are :]. I thought the keyring was an actual ring when i saw it online and it also said Clear Acrylic Solitaire Diamond Ring so i thought it'd be cute but when it arrived, i was shocked to find that it was infact a keyring...please beware if you choose this as your free sample! It's still pretty though.

Hello! Sorry guys for the lack of updates! I have exams soon and still have assessments that i need to start! My exams finish on the 28th of June so that's when i'll start catching up on all of my posts. I'll still be blogging but just not as frequently. Here's just the most recent food pictures for my all food update :]
Rainbow Drink! This was really weird in a good way i guess. I decided to order it since the name made me curious. It had red bean, green jelly, green bean and tasted abit like a coconut slushie.
Yogurberry All Berry Smoothie...made from their yogurt. Really really good :]
Cafe food from Urban Bites
Strawberry Cheesecake from Urban Bites. This was amazingly good.
Lemon tart!
Peach, watermelon and strawberry frappe from Urban Bites. It wasn't sweet since i ate the cheesecake first D:
Seasoned Chips with sweet chilli mayo from Grill'd. Addictive.
Uden from Kobow. It was nice but had slightly too much garlic in it.
Sweet and sour pork...there were two and this was the coloured one which in my opinion tasted better!
Fried chicken...you dip it with a mustard sauce which is like a party in your mouth, simply delicious.
Karaage Don from Takeru
Mango Shaved Ice from Meet Fresh.

Hello there! I really need to start getting back on track since i haven't been keeping up with work. I will need this week to catch up on everything. I still have a few assessments due in June and then afterwards it'll be my final exams until the end of the semester, really can not wait until it's all over. As i said before, i bought a few items from www.yesstyle.com.au awhile ago and here's my review on their site.
Yesstyle Review
What i ordered:
- Wool-Blend Hooded Coat in Dark Red http://www.yesstyle.com.au/en/info.html/pid.1023867522
- Pointelle Sweater in Mustard Yellow http://www.yesstyle.com.au/en/info.html/pid.1024927915
- Faux-Leather Lace-Up Boots in Khaki http://www.yesstyle.com.au/en/info.html/pid.1025019468
Shipping: 6/10 It took ages since i had to wait 2 weeks for my boots to come into the warehouse and then for them to ship it to me but i knew i had to wait so it wasn't so bad. It took about 3 weeks to arrive.
Packaging: 9/10 Good packaging, everything was wrapped up well and the bag that came with the shoes is re-usable and also handy to use.
Price: 7.5/10 Everything is generally okay priced but it really depends on the items since you don't know what the material is like until it comes to you. The wool blend coat that i bought was not worth the price since the material was thin and bad quality and it wasn't cheap.
Quality of clothing: 7/10 This again really depends on what you buy. Most clothing from this site though is thin as it's from Asia so it's expected. The wool blend coat as i mentioned above was bad quality, thin and also very heavy because of the hood. The sweater i bought was normal but on the thin side. The shoes i bought were also okay but also the quality wasn't the best.
Customer Service: Didn't really ask them anything so i'm not sure.
Overall: 7.5/10 i've never bought any clothes from online myself so i really wanted to try it. I don't think i'll buy any coats from this site again but i think the hoodies are worth it! I asked a friend to buy a hoodie from Yesstyle and i loved it. The site is trustworthy and unless your item is not in stock, shipping shouldn't take too long. You can navigate the site for HOURS since there is so much to go through. I won't be buying anything from this site for awhile but when i need a hoodie, this will be the place to go. I haven't bought any pants/skirts/shirts from Yesstyle yet so i can't say anything about those but i guess you may as well buy it for the experience.

Hi everyone! If you guys have been reading my blog, you'll know that i permed my hair at home not too long ago however it wasn't very successful due to the hair rollers i used. Just wanted to post the process and the experience i had :]. The technique was effective, just not the rollers.
This is the perm i used! You can buy it from Priceline if you live in Australia or if you go to any good pharmacy, they'll have a perming system of some sort just like they have bleach and hair dye, it will be in that section. Always read the instructions!!
All packages will have instructions at the back or inside the box.
For me, i had the solution in my hair for around 10-15 mins and it's different for everyone's hair so make sure you know how long it's needed.
Package should include two bottles! Perm solution and also perm neutraliser. Perm solution is always applied first so don't get them mixed up.
Instructions:
1. Apply solution to the parts you want to get permed, do small sections of the hair so it doesnt get too messy and drip. Remember to wear gloves.
2. After you've applied the solution, roll your hair up with the hair rollers/rods you want to use and fasten them so they don't fall.
3. Optional: Wear a shower cap or wrap your head with cling wrap so the heat from your head is not lost and will help make your perms last longer.
4. Wait 10-15 minutes OR DEPENDING ON THE INSTRUCTIONS.
5. Rinse thoroughly with the hair rollers/rods still in your hair to remove all the solution, rinsing time should take around 5-8 minutes with lukewarm water.
6. Blot dry the hair rollers/rods using a towel so it doesn't drip.
7. Apply neutraliser from the bottle and start from the back of the neck making sure each roller/rod is saturated several times.
8. Leave in for 5 minutes.
9. Remove rollers/rods gently and apply the remaining neutraliser, you may skip this step to step 10 if you already applied alot in the beginning like me. Note: Pay attention to the ends!
10. Leave in for a further 3 minutes.
11. Finally rinse very thoroughly. Note: I didn't wash my hair with shampoo and conditioner until maybe 2 days later but that's also optional.
The hair rollers i used made my hair unsuccessful! I was aiming for nice big curls and since hair rods didn't have big sizes, i decided to use my velcro hair rollers...mm big mistake. As you can see, the velcro rollers have tiny grooves and my hair was wrapped around that leading to tiny grooves in my hair instead of big curls! So basically my hair became frizzy however this did add volume and that was one of the main things i wanted to perm my hair again. Although sadly i didn't get big curls, the frizziness wasn't that bad but i was still slightly disappointed. A good thing about permed hair is that it can hold styles really easily, a secret technique i do is sleep with my hair in two buns and the next day, i get nice curls and it lasts all day since my hair is permed with alittle help from hairspray. If you want effective curls, you must use perming rods/rollers and not velcro ones! The best way to acheive big curls is not by perming but instead just using a curler.
Hehe, funny photo i took of my hair with the hair rollers! I didn't take any photos of my after hair since you can't really see the difference in photos, only in person.

Hello everyone! Mother's Day is tomorrow :D Hope everyone is doing something special for their mum to show their appreciation for her. I managed to watch all the Marvel Avengers' movies before going to watch the actual one on Tuesday. They were all pretty good but Thor had a 'different' feel from the other two so i guess that's why it had more of an impact on me. Actually, i didn't watch all of them since i haven't seen Hulk/The Incredible Hulk yet. Today i have a review on my Holika Holika Mousse Starter that i got from Korea at Myeongdong. I first saw it on Sasa and wanted to buy it, i was surprised to find it in Korea so i bought it straight away instead of ordering from Sasa.
Review: Holika Holika Pore Cover Mousse Starter SPF 30 PA++
I think the picture above is the older version since the updated/newer version has SPF 30 PA++ but pretty sure the formula is exactly the same apart from that and the packaging.
This is the newer version which is available on Sasa but currently it is out of stock.
Holika Holika Pore Magic Cover Mousse Starter SPF30 PA++ is a pore cover, makeup base and sun screen. The mousse-type product is to be used before makeup application. By tightening and covering wide pores, it helps make a clean and even skin textures. By blocking UV rays and reflecting the light, it maintains clean and bright skin tone. Smart Oil Balancing Powder makes fresh skin condition by controlling excess sebum and oil.
Pore Magic Cover Mousse Starter SPF30 PA++ contains hot-spring water, which has abundant mineral ingredients, and jojoba oil to moisturize the skin without sticky feeling.
Good Part:
♡ Makes skin a pink-ish tone
♡ Doesn't really cover pores that well
Sorry for the messy lid, there was no point cleaning it since it gets dirty everytime i use the product
Mousse~~~Fluffy
No Flash Flash
Overall: 7/10
The mousse smells really fresh and nice but only alittle like strawberries. It's kind of 'slippery' so it took awhile to blend into my skin, i always had parts were i didn't blend it in properly since i was in a hurry. The texture is very different to other products and reminds me of foam shower gels. The bad thing about the mousse is alot comes out even when you press it gently but there's ALOT of product inside so it's not too bad. The mousse didn't really 'cover' my pores but instead made my skin look brighter and have a pink-ish tone. There is coverage but just not alot. My skin felt smoother after applying this, it had a 'velvety' sort of touch. This is the alternative option when i need to use something with SPF that isn't BB cream or sunscreen. I think using this product then adding bb cream would feel too heavy on the face but that's only my opinion. This product isn't too bad but i wouldn't buy it again. It's good to experiment with new products ^^.
